Encounters

This April Larry Vroom had an opportunity stop and meet with Phil Casdorph and his wife Stephanie at their home in Chino Valley, Arizona. Larry was on a ride on his new Harley from Sun City, Arizona up to Chino Valley was able to arrange to meet with Phil and Stephanie.
Phil is retired from the financial markets industry and has located in this Northern Arizona town where he and Stephanie raise and train German Short Hair Pointers. They travel extensively entering their dogs in competition to flush out birds and retrieve them. What an exciting and interesting hobby. Although Larry didn't have an opportunity to see Phil's dogs in action he was able to visit their kennel and promised to be invited to the next competition in the Arizona area. It was great fun to be with Phil and Stephanie and see where their life has taken them.

Save the Date
Our 50th Class Reunion is scheduled for Thursday, May 30 through Sunday, June 2, 2013. Be sure to save those days on your calendar.
By late spring or early summer, we will prepare and distribute a list of all area hotels and inns where you can make reservations for our reunion weekend. You may find it dificult to make reservations at some area facilities before June of this year. Some simply do not accept reservations more than 52 weeks in advance. Others have not yet set their rates for 2013 and as one member of our class discovered to her dismay, they may even tell you that they already are fully booked, which is not true.

Campus Construction
What we knew as the Phi Gam house is now being remade from the inside out into student apartments ...definitely more deluxe than some of us enjoyed 50 years ago.

Further downhill, work continues apace on Denison's new natatorium which should be completed in 2013 just in time for our grand 50th reunion.
